White Treadle Zig Zag

This project has been fun and the results are pleasing. A poor beat-up WHITE Sit Straight treadle that had been rendered useless by puzzling re-design and user alterations is now alive and well and VERY USEFUL again. The treadle off-set design is very useful to all treadlers that grow weary from setting and working off balanced from looking slightly to the left. With this excellent treadle peddle design one sits straight and upright in front of the needle and sew/work where the needle is located.

For the first time in its long life time this now custom treadle works with many sewing machines. The price for this Custom treadle unit without a head is $275.00.

With the White Japanese head (MODERN) as herein pictured is $327.50.

For the ultimate in treadling it can be supplied with a Necchi BU for $475.00. Since it is custom it can now be fitted with many different heads. Just ask.

Used this Singer vintage hold-down fitting to hold down on the head when down in cabinet. The machine is pinned onto the top so it cannot be dropped out.
