The badge on this WHITE 77 is Domestic. This is a light weight all metal model of the White 77. This model was made and sold for several decades for it remained popular. It was also badged for use by other sellers. One badge was Domestic and another was Kenmore but it remained the ever popular WHITE.

These two knobs are the top of the needle shaft and the presser foot. The presser foot is on the left side and the down presser is applied through the lower wheel.

The White motor is equipped with a friction drive wheel. I don't like to leave this wheel hard against the drive wheel as this will in time set a dent into the motor drive wheel causing a clatter like sound. During long non use periods I like to hold the motor away from the hand wheel with that small piece of wood.
