Singer 128 Hand Crank
This smaller version (3/4 size) vibrating shuttle sewing machine is one of the very oldest of the very best sewing machines ever made and was made for years and years. Place the hand crank sewing machine on a card table in front of the TV and sew away making quilt blocks. It is quiet and always under full control because that is the way it is with a hand crank sewing machine.

Notice the sewing light on the rear side of the arm. This light was rewired but not connected after the machine was converted into the hand crank. We can reestablish (at additional cost) this unit into a motorized unit and this should be explored if desired. The light is ready for such use but it could get an extension cord added (for just $15.00) so it will serve as the hand crank sewing light.

The cost of this lovely as now configured is just $137.50. It will pack and ship fine.

It is clean through out and in very nice condition. Everything on it was near perfect but for the electrical plug under the hand wheel. It had been damaged and was useless to leave in place so the machine was re-birthed into a hand crank. Notice the sewing light needs some extra attention.

This model Singer sewing machine will not rest on a table top in a stitching condition with out a base of some sort so this nice simple tray was made, stained pecan color and is the new home for this lovely sewing machine.

The thread tension system back then was simple and worked perfect. This Singer comes with a manual, packet of needles and three bobbins. The manual shows how to fill a bobbin, thread a shuttle, install a new needle and set the thread tension.

Here the long bobbin is set to fill with red thread. This little system will load the bobbin evenly in a tight and proper manner. DON'T over fill it too much so it will be too fat for the shuttle.
