Kenmore 1200

This is a superior sewing machine made as a no frills sewing machine for Sears. It makes superior straight stitches and zig zag stitches with controls for stitch length, stitch width, and reverse sewing. It does these things fast and is a strong sewing machine. It comes with several (many) presser feet and some tools, bobbins and sewing needles. It has a manual on CD disc and a manual for using the many presser feet.

Even though the machine is in like new condition and is loaded quiet well with accessories it is offered for relative little at just $137.50 and will be a very good purchase for someone wanting just a simple and good sewing machine. Kenmore sewing machines are a value not well understood in the sewing world. They last and serve well.

Kenmore 1200_12 In this last picture the case top section is in place and makes a good clean home for the machine. There is a problem however with shipping the case with the machine. The case must be packed separate from the very heavy machine. This raises the cost of the case to more than it is worth so in most instances the case is not shipped with the machine. When a machine is packed inside a plastic case the case is doomed to destruction by the weight of the head.
