Hatachi Treadle

This 'made in Japan' Treadle is very nice and was made for markets supported by the industry in Japan. This unit was sold in the Philippines to a US Service member that gave it as a gift to his daughter. She was seven years old then and is about 40+ (?) now and NEVER used the treadle. The nice BROTHERS machine in it is like new.

The few issues found in the treadle and sewing machine were all fixed. There are extra bobbins and needles and a presser foot. The price is $165.00 and can be packed and shipped.

Hatachi Treadle_1 Modeled after the Singer treadles and well made. The irons are cast metal. Has a wide treadle peddle, two side drawers and a center drawer. Made a key to replace the lost one. All set to sew for you.	Hatachi Treadle_2 Very clean and in very nice condition throughout. Did not get a manual for this simple and easy to use sewing machine but will include a generic manual.	Hatachi Treadle_3 Looks very Singer doesn't it? Being raised upward ready to sew. This cabinet top has lock and now it works and has a new key.	Hatachi Treadle_4 Ready to sew position. This was a good and simple setup that will serve most sewing needs. It will make garments, quilts and other such items. Additional accessories can be found for it such as extra presser feet (like zipper foot or ruffler) and button hole makers, and zig zag makers.	Hatachi Treadle_6 Like new in looks and in actions. It is a straight stitch with drop feed dogs and reverse. This is a PERFECT unit for quilting. To start with it will machine quilt the best of all, just getv a darning foot.
Hatachi Treadle_7 The slide plate is good and large but even better is shown just a little later.	Hatachi Treadle_8 Clean and smooth as silk to treadle. This will be (is) a sweet treadle.	Hatachi Treadle_9 Back side just as nice. Has a very nice light to use when you have electricity.	Hatachi Treadle_10 Closer look at bobbin area advantage feature is next.....	Hatachi Treadle_11 This hole under the bobbin allows the hand to place filled bobbins without moving any of the work material being stitched.
Hatachi Treadle_12 Set the stitch length and the direction to stitch - forward or reverse as desired. So easy to use.	Hatachi Treadle_13 Drop the feed dogs with just a twist of the fingers.	Hatachi Treadle_14 Well designed treadle with nice skirt guard.	Hatachi Treadle_15 The foot peddle. This treadle reminds me of the Singer school house model treadle. This one however is cast iron not stamped metal.
