Bronze WHITE The fabulous embossed White Rotary done in Bronze and staged in the beautiful Mount Vernon Model Cabinet is an exceptional sewing machine. In 43 years collecting sewing machine this is the first like this one. These very unusual sewing machines were made during 1926 to celebrate the 50th year birthday for WHITE. This is a deeply embossed cast iron body with a very heavy plating of bronze. The iron body was made for several years following 1926 and painted black. It is the basic model 77 rotary action used during several years. It is unknown how many bronze heads were made but it was just for one year (1926) and the number is not high This unit is offered for $1,000.00 and it is as perfect as can be made. It sews well and can be used. It will pack and ship well but at considerable costs. It would be best and safer to pick it up. |
